Privacy Policy — MX Merchant Payments Bridge

This Privacy Policy describes how MyBusinessAssist.AI ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the MX Merchant Payments Bridge application ("the App"), which connects a GoHighLevel sub-account to an MX Merchant processing account as a custom payment provider.

Information we process

Integration credentials. When an authorized user connects their MX Merchant account, we store the merchant ID and API credentials, encrypted at rest using authenticated AES-256-GCM. GoHighLevel OAuth access and refresh tokens are likewise stored encrypted.

Transaction data. We store records of payment attempts (amount, currency, status, timestamps, GoHighLevel order/contact identifiers, and processor transaction IDs) to support verification, refunds, and reporting.

Cardholder data. Card numbers and CVV values are transmitted to MX Merchant to process a payment and are never stored in, or written to logs by, the App. For saved cards, only a processor token plus the card brand, last four digits, and expiry are retained.

How we use information

Solely to operate the payment integration: authenticating with GoHighLevel and MX Merchant, processing charges and refunds, listing saved payment methods, and providing operational dashboards to the connecting agency.

Sharing

We share data only with the services required to deliver the App: GoHighLevel, MX Merchant (Priority Technology), and our hosting/database providers (Vercel and Supabase). We do not sell personal information.

Data retention & security

Data is retained for as long as the integration is active or as required for financial recordkeeping. Access to credentials is restricted to server-side processes; sensitive fields are redacted from application logs. Uninstalling the App from a location disables its provider and removes its access tokens.

Your choices

Agencies may disconnect MX Merchant or uninstall the App at any time. To request deletion of stored data, contact us at support@mybusinessassist.ai.
